THREE RIVERS ― Two musical acts will perform in the Riviera Theatre Bar tonight, Saturday, Sept. 29 in downtown Three Rivers.
Cloudmouth will kickoff the evening around 8 p.m. According to the Nashville Scene the three piece band “blends influences from folk, jazz, late-’60s-vintage pop and more into a distinctive and delightfully unsettled sound. Even when a pleasant chord progression goes rippling by, there’s no telling whether it will turn into an ominous shuffle or dissipate into electronic stardust.”
Lune will follow with an act that has been described as “folk, alt-country, dark, Americana, something out of the 90s, Rock & Roll” and on at least one occasion “actually good”.
“Recently we were described as ‘ Everybody’s favorite whiskey-soaked country-punk outfit.” Truth be told ― we have no idea what we are or what we sound like, but we know we have fun doing it.”
A $5 cover is suggest for the two performances but is not required.
